REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) FOR LICENSED INSURANCE BROKER (6.06.2018)
The purpose of this request is to solicit and select an independent insurance broker (referred herein as “Broker”) to act as the representative of the City of Natalia (referred herein as “City”) for employee health insurance and benefits management. The Broker shall introduce the most advantageous insurance coverages and plans to the City, including but not limited to the terms and conditions of coverage, continuity, costs, and providing a broad range of value-added services as outlined in the Scope of Services.

PROPOSAL SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
- RFQ's submission deadline is Friday, June 29, 2018, no later than 4:30 p.m.
- RFQ’s must be received by the submission deadline in a sealed envelope.
- RFQ’s received after the deadline will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.
- RFQ’s submitted by electronic transmission will NOT be accepted.
- Applicants accept all risks of late package delivery or submission regardless of fault.

The City of Natalia is in compliance with the competitive sealed proposal requirements outlined in Chapter 252 of the Texas Local Government Code for the selection of an Insurance Broker for the City of Natalia.
The City of Natalia reserves the right to reject any and all submittals, and to waive any irregularity, informality, technicality, or deficiencies in the submittal and evaluation process. RFQ’s do not obligate the City to pay any costs incurred by respondents in the preparation or submissions of their proposal. Furthermore, the RFQ does not obligate the City to accept or negotiate a contract with any firm or individual for any expressed or implied services.
